Like the iconic Trannon Range, O Range explores the structural and environmental benefits of steam bent ash, but we have now developed two unique techniques that dramatically extend the possibilities of this traditional craft.

Our "Tubular Rivet" construction system is many times stronger and fatigue resistant than conventional timber jointing, and particularly to steam bent flexible structures. Less obvious is timber cutting that makes imaginative use of the latest in saw technology, the result is a subtle texture and it eliminating two thirds of the timber processing and virtually all of the need for dust extraction, resulting in more emphasis on skill, and a huge reduction in energy and the least interesting aspects of making.
